Job summary

Cera Care is seeking a Care Assistant in Poole and surrounding areas to support patients recently discharged from hospital. You will provide essential in-home care, assist with personal care, meals, and daily tasks, while offering companionship and reassurance to improve recovery and well-being.

Shifts include early and late with part-time and full-time options, and a block hourly rate covers travel time and visits. DBS checks and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Compassion, patience and empathy in caring for others.
• Ability to assist with personal care including continence support, washing, dressing and meal preparation.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks for clients.
• Support with medications as directed.
• Prepare meals and help with domestic tasks.
• Provide companionship and reassurance to clients.
