Job summary

Bupa UK in Cobham is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to support residents at St Georges Care Home. You will provide person-centred care, assist with personal needs, and help residents live as independently as possible while following care plans.

The role involves documenting changes, promoting nutrition and engagement, and maintaining safety and regulatory compliance. Full-time, 44 hours per week, 4 day shifts.

Qualifications

• Motivation, positivity and strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Desirable: previous care home experience or Health and Social Care qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with companionship and personal care.
• Observe and document changes in residents' behaviour per legislation.
• Support residents' nutrition and hydration per care plan.
• Provide physical and mental stimulation through activities, both group and individual.
• Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory requirements.
