Job summary

Bupa's St Georges Care Home in Cobham, Surrey is recruiting a Care Assistant (Bank) to provide person-centred care, support independence and honour residents' choices. Join a team committed to delivering high standards of care and to helping residents live better lives in a supportive environment.

You'll contribute to individual care plans, assist with daily living tasks, and participate in social activities while maintaining dignity, respect, and safety for all residents.

Qualifications

• Desirable: Health & Social Care qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with companionship and personal care.

• Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care.
• Observe and manage residents' behaviour with care and ensure to document and report any changes in accordance with the required legislation.
• Support residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.
• Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
• Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory & legal requirements. Motivation, positivity, and great interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
