Job summary

Springcare is seeking caring professionals to join our team, delivering 24-hour support with dignity and respect for each resident. Carers contribute to daily living, comfort, and wellbeing in a supportive environment.

As part of the care team you will assist with washing, dressing, meals and activities, while building meaningful relationships with residents and their families. Various day or night contracts are available.

Qualifications

• Compassion, sensitivity and understanding are essential.
• A desire to help people and provide quality care.
• Strong people skills and clear communication are important.
• Patience and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Thoroughness and careful attention to detail.
• Ability to carry out basic computer/hand-held device tasks.

Responsibilities

• Help residents with washing and dressing.
• Assist with feeding and mealtimes.
• Learn residents' interests and care needs.
• Carry out general housekeeping in bedrooms and communal areas.
• Support residents' physical and mental wellbeing through activities.
