Job summary

Valley Care is recruiting a Care Assistant for Harrison Park Extra Care. The role offers £12.71 per hour (block pay) with paid holidays, a company mobile phone, and full training provided. 1 PT position is available, 07:00–15:00, on a 2-week rolling rota (Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun in Week 1).

You will provide life-changing care for vulnerable adults and assist with personal care, mobility, meals, and medications. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and demonstrate compassion,

Qualifications

• Have genuine compassion and a patient, respectful approach to care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to respond calmly in challenging situations.
• Willingness to learn, follow training and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist service users with personal care (washing, bathing, toilet).
• Support mobility and use of aids and equipment.
• Carry out light domestic tasks (beds, cleaning, laundry, tidying).
• Prepare meals, snacks and drinks for residents.
• Assist with administration of medications as directed.
• Support clients on social visits and access to shops.
