Apex Prime Care is seeking Care Assistants for our Extra Care services in Portsmouth. We offer flexible and guaranteed hour contracts (up to 35 hours) with full-time, part-time, morning and evening shifts. You will work alternate weekends as part of your rota and provide compassionate, personalised care to residents in our units.

No prior experience required, but a friendly, people-focused approach is essential. We provide training, DBS, and ongoing development in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• A passion for helping others; caring experience desirable but not essential.
• Flexible to work various shifts, including alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living tasks and personal care.
• Support residents with meals, mobility, and daily routines.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, helping maintain independence.
