Apex is recruiting Care Assistants for our Extra Care service in Dorchester at Melrose Court, Foylebank Court, and Westhaven House. We offer part-time and full-time permanent positions with day and night shifts, secure work, good pay and training, no previous experience required.

As a care assistant, you will support residents with varying needs to live as independently as possible, following personalised care plans and providing compassionate care daily.

Qualifications

• A passion for helping others, and previous caring experience is desirable but not essential.
• You should be flexible to work various shifts, including alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities and personal care.
• Support with meals, getting up, medications, and mobility as needed.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
