Choice Care is seeking dedicated carers to support clients across Burnley & Darwen, with full-time or part-time opportunities. No experience? Training will be provided, and progression to NVQ Level 2/3 is available.

Starting pay varies by experience (£12.75–£13.10 per hour) with room to grow as you advance. Benefits include paid training, pension contributions, and opportunities for career progression. Applicants must be able to work alternate weekends and have access to a car for travel between

Qualifications

• At least 6 months care experience or NVQ in Health & Social Care.
• Starting rate £13.10 with experience; £12.75 without experience after classroom training.
• Able to work alternate weekends and cover shifts in Lancashire area.

Responsabilités

• Provide compassionate home-based care to clients within Burnley & Darwen and surrounding areas.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care as required.
• Complete and maintain care plans, document visits, and communicate with the care team.

At Choice Care, we provide the best possible care and support for those that need it - including people coming to the end of life, those with dementia, sensory impairment, or physical difficulties – enabling our clients to live their own homes with dignity and enjoy the best possible quality of life.

We are looking for carers to work within Burnley & Darwen and all in between the M65 corridor, we have Full and Part time positions available. Having care experience would be an advantage, but if you don’t have any experience, training will be provided.

We are a Preferred Provider for BWD Social Services and Lancashire county council we also provide care for the ICB as well as private clients. We are a family business and have been providing care in the area for 26 years.

If you have at least 6 months experience in care or hold an NVQ in Health & Social care your starting hourly rate will be £13.10.

With an hourly rate of £12.75 if you have no care experience, you will be trained first of all in our classroom by our in house nurse and management team, and then be mentored one on one by one of our experienced qualified carers.

At that point you start your Level 2 or 3 NVQ qualification and when you achieve that your pay to £13.50

You need to be able to work alternate weekends.

Company Culture

We provide induction training and carers must reach the required level of knowledge in each subject area.

They must also complete a number of shifts with a supervisor to make sure they’re competent at following care plans and delivering the required level of care.

New recruits will also be working on achieving their diploma/NVQ qualification in care, which takes between 6 and 9 months to complete.
