Choice Care are seeking dedicated local carers to support vulnerable clients in Blackburn with Darwen. You will need to drive your own car, have access to weekday and alternate weekend shifts, and maintain daily care records, administer medication, and follow care plans and risk assessments.

Job description

Choice Care are looking for more and more local people, as we expand and grow, to work in the local area . You must have experence in adult social care, be able to drive with your own car and live with easy access to Blackburn & Darwen. All our clients are vulnerable and need to see the same faces, not a different face each day so you have to be reliable and committed to regular scheduled work. We think that there are lots of people that would like to care but just need the right set of circumstances and training and the right kind of company to support their work life balance. Your written and spoken English must be excellent as you will make daily care records, administer medication and need to fully understand care plans and risk assessments.,

  You need to be a driver with a car and available to work alternate weekends as well as during the week.

We are a family business and have been providing care in the area for over 25 years. With a starting hourly rate of £12.75 per hour, your training will be completed in our training room. Once you complete your probationary period you start your Level 2 or 3 NVQ qualification and when you achieve that your pay goes up to £13.10 If you already hold your NVQ level 2 or higher in Health & Social care, or once you achieve this your pay goes up to £13.50 We look forward to meeting you at interview.
