Job summary

Home Instead in Manchester is seeking Care Assistants to support clients in the Didsbury, Chorlton and Urmston areas. If you live in M14, M16, M19, M20, M21, M32 or M41, you’re invited to apply and join a caring team.

No prior care experience is required as comprehensive training is provided. You will be supported to provide high-quality, person-centered care with flexible weekend options.

Qualifications

• Experience and qualifications in care are an advantage; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Companionship, including conversation and games.
• Accompaniment to appointments or shopping.
• Meal preparation, including simple home-cooked meals.
• Light housekeeping, e.g. vacuuming and dusting.
• Personal care as required.
