Job summary

Home Instead in Urmston is looking for Care Assistants to serve the Urmston and Stretford areas. If you live in the M32 or M41 areas we welcome you to apply.

We welcome people who share our values, whether you have previous Care Assistant experience or not, we provide all the training you need to be a confident and skilled Care Professional. As a Care Professional you will make a difference with companionship, accompaniment to appointments, meal preparation, light housekeeping and personal care.

Qualifications

• Experience and qualifications in care are an advantage however are not required as we provide full training.
• Have a desire to care and a willingness to do your bit on alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

• Companionship, everything from a chat over a cup of tea to playing a game of scrabble
• Accompaniment, to appointments or a spot of shopping
• Meal preparation, a sandwich, or a home cooked meal
• Light housekeeping, a run around with the vacuum cleaner or a spot of dusting
• Personal Care, because it's important to us all
