Job Description

Shift patterns will consist of mornings 07 : 00-14 : 15 and / or evenings 16 : 00-22 : 00. You will be required to work alternate weekends.

• Provide essential personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Manage medication administration and assist with meal preparation, adhering to dietary requirements
• Maintain a hygienic and safe living environment, offering professional companionship and emotional support
• Assist with mobility and transfers, utilising appropriate equipment and following safety protocols
• Monitor and report changes in service users' health or wellbeing to the care coordinator
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members
• Strictly adhere to health and safety regulations and organisational policies
• Participate in mandatory training and professional development opportunities
• Work alternate weekends and operate across Wigan and surrounding areas as required.

Qualifications

• Basic healthcare knowledge and understanding of person‑centred care
