Job summary

Elizabeth Finn Homes Limited in the United Kingdom seeks a compassionate Care Assistant to deliver high-quality, personal care to residents at Eversfield Care Home in Reigate. You will promote residents’ dignity and independence while working alongside clinical and senior care teams to create a safe, engaging environment.

Qualifications

• Secondary school education with good numeracy and literacy.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.
• Level 2 in Care (or willingness to work towards it).
• Experience caring for older people.
• Basic knowledge of Care Workers’ Codes of Practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care in line with care plans and procedures, documenting accurately.
• Report any changes, concerns, incidents, or complaints promptly to senior staff.
• Support residents with social activities, routines, and meaningful engagement.
• Maintain a clean, safe, secure environment and ensure equipment is used/stored safely.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all policies; take responsibility for ongoing learning and development.
