Job summary

Amica Care is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant (Days) in Exmouth for a temporary contract. You will support residents with daily living, provide companionship, and work as part of a caring team to ensure dignity and independence.

Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, pay rate £12.82–£13.09 per hour, with comprehensive training and benefits. Experience isn’t always necessary; a can-do attitude and values are valued.

What You’ll Be Doing Day to Day

• Supporting residents with daily living, helping with personal care, meals, and activities to promote independence and wellbeing.
• Providing companionship- listening, chatting and making every interaction warm and meaningful.
• Creating a safe and nurturing environment- supporting residents' physical, emotional and social needs with patience and dignity.
• Working as part of a a great team- communicating with colleagues and following care plans to ensure the highest standard of care
