Job summary

The Polegate Care Home is seeking a passionate Care Assistant to join our 44-hour-per-week team in Polegate, East Sussex. You will support residents with daily living, personal care, mobility and nutrition, following care plans to ensure dignity and wellbeing.

Full training and ongoing development are provided in a supportive environment. We welcome applicants with or without prior care experience; NVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.

Qualifications

• Experience in care is beneficial but not essential.
• Willingness to learn and develop in a supportive environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are important.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care to residents, including personal care, mobility and nutrition.
• Support residents with daily living while following care plans.
• Work as part of a team to create a warm, safe and respectful environment.
• Contribute to dignity, independence and wellbeing of residents.
