Job summary

Avon Search is recruiting two dedicated Care Assistants for a welcoming care home in the Totnes area of Devon. There is one full-time day position and one full-time night position, each with a 42-hour week and a salary of £28,173.60 per annum.

You will provide compassionate, person-centred care, assist with personal care and daily routines, support meals and mobility, and help residents feel safe and valued day and night.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience preferred but not essential.
• NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care desirable.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents.
• Assist with personal care, mobility and daily routines.
• Support with meals, hydration and daily activities.
• Maintain residents' dignity, privacy and comfort.
• Follow care plans and report changes to the senior team.
