Job summary

Harmony Healthcare in Swindon is seeking a compassionate Healthcare Assistant to provide 1:1 care in clients’ homes. You will support with daily living tasks, community access and social activities, helping clients stay independent and dignified in familiar surroundings.

Full specialist clinical training is provided, with shifts day and night. Competitive pay (£15.20 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay) and ongoing development opportunities are offered to support a rewarding career in complex

At Harmony Healthcare, we believe exceptional care is delivered by exceptional people. We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistant to support a range of clients in Swindon. Your care will enable them to live safely, confidently, and with dignity in their own homes.

This is a meaningful 1:1 role where you can genuinely see the impact of the support you provide.

Clinical Requirements

You will support the client with the specific clinical tasks outlined in their care plan. These may include:

• Oxygen saturation monitoring
• Suctioning
• Airway management
• Cough assist
• Ventilation support
• PEG/JEJ management
• Epilepsy management
• Moving and handling
• Personal care
• Medication support

Full specialist training and competency sign-off are provided by our Clinical Team, so you do not need to have every skill listed to apply.

Shifts Available

We offer consistent and predictable shifts to support your work-life balance and financial stability.

• Weekend day shifts
• Weekend night shifts
• 12-hour shift or shorter calls
• Driver requirements if applicable
• Regular pattern (e.g., every Saturday and Sunday)

Your presence will help the client feel safe, supported and in control of their daily routine.

Compliance Requirements

All roles are subject to enhanced DBS checks, reference checks, Right to Work verification and full CQC/Schedule 3-compliant onboarding.

Referral Bonus

• £150 for every Healthcare Assistant you refer
• £250 for every Registered Nurse you refer
• Paid once your referral completes 150 hours.
