Job summary

Harmony Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Healthcare Assistant to support a 17-year-old client with complex care needs at home in Peterborough. The role involves 1:1 care, providing emotional support, and assisting with community access while promoting independence and dignity.

Night shifts are available and holiday pay is included. Clinical requirements include paediatric moving and handling and cough assist competencies, with a strong emphasis on reliability, empathy and effective

Care Assistant - Complex Care (Peterborough, Cambridgeshire)

£15.20 / £18 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay) Night shifts available

This is a meaningful 2:1 role where you can genuinely see the impact of the support you provide.

About the Client

Our client is a young 17 year old girl with Complex care requirements who lives at home with her mother, father and older brother. She is a very happy a bubbly girl, she is non-verbal but can smile and make sounds and be interactive. She loves being spoken to and having fun people around her.

Clinical Requirements

• Experience with Children
• Cough assist competency
• Paediatric Moving and Assisting Competency
• Paediatric administration of Suppositories Competency
• Brain injury experience
• Skin integrity Competency

Shifts Available

We offer consistent and predictable shifts to support your work-life balance and financial stability.

• Night shifts - 20:00 - 08:00 (Current urgency for weekend cover)

Compliance Requirements
