Job summary

The Amwell Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Care Assistant in Melton Mowbray to provide person-centred care to residents, supporting daily living, nutrition and wellbeing. Full training and ongoing development are provided, with a friendly team and a rewarding workplace.

Salary is £12.71 per hour, with a contract of 38.5–44 hours per week. Benefits include paid DBS pension and a uniform, plus generous leave and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop; NVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow care plans to deliver safe, responsive and consistent care.
• Work as part of a warm, supportive team to create a positive environment where residents feel truly cared for.
