Job summary

Oakland Care Home in Rochdale, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Care Assistant to provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents. The home offers residential and dementia care in a 40-bed setting and values dignity and wellbeing.

The role includes personal care, mobility support and nutrition, with full training and development provided. The position is contracted for 22 or 33 hours per week, with DBS, pension and uniform included.

Qualifications

• Good communication and teamwork required.
• Willingness to learn and develop in care.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living, personal care, mobility and nutrition.
• Follow care plans to support dignity, independence and wellbeing.
• Support emotional wellbeing and create a warm, respectful environment.
• Work as part of a team with ongoing training and development.
