Job summary

Oakland Care Home in Rochdale, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Care Assistant to provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents. The home offers residential and dementia care in a 40-bed setting and values dignity and wellbeing.

The role includes personal care, mobility support and nutrition, with full training and development provided. The position is contracted for 22 or 33 hours per week, with DBS, pension and uniform included.

Qualifications

• Good communication and teamwork required.
• Willingness to learn and develop in care.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.45 - £13.95 per hour
• Contracted to either 22hrs or 33 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
