First City Nursing and Care is seeking a Care Assistant - Community Driver for the Isle of Wight to provide person-centred support to clients in their own homes.

You will need a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle; duties include daily living assistance, mobility support, and medication reminders. We offer full training, mileage, pension, guaranteed hours and ongoing training and career progression in a compassionate team.

Care Assistant - Community Driver (FCN - 303) Isle of Wight, England

Salary: GBP13.93 - GBP13.93 per hour + Full Training, Mileage, Pension

Areas Covered

East Cowes, Wootton, Binstead, Ryde, Seaview, St Helens, Bembridge, and Brading

(Not inclusive of all the areas we cover)

Your Role

You'll provide person-centred care and support tailored to each individual's needs, including:

• Supporting clients with daily routines in their own homes
• Personal care (bathing, showering, continence care)
• Assisting with mobility and medication
• Preparing meals and light household tasks
• Promoting independence, dignity, and choice

This role is about more than tasks it's about building trust, offering companionship, and helping people live comfortably in their own homes.

• Full-time
• Part-time

Shifts include:

• Morning: 7:00am - 2:30pm
• Evening: 2:30pm - 11:00pm
• Teas & Bed: 5:00pm - 11:00pm

Flexibility for early mornings, evenings, and some weekends is required.
