Job summary

Care Dorset Limited is seeking caring individuals to join their team as Care Assistants. You will assist with personal care, domestic tasks, and support for residents across a range of care settings, while maintaining dignity and privacy.

Responsibilities

• Undertake personal care duties as required to the relevant client group which will typically include toileting, washing and manual handling (including hoisting) and transfer.
• Undertake domestic tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
• Support the relevant client group in a way that maintains dignity and privacy
• Participate in the maintenance of essential record keeping, through brief written recording on individual client records
• Comply with Health and Safety requirements in respect of manual handling and transfer hoisting and the use of protective equipment to aid infection control
• You would be expected to work within the Gold Standards Framework
• The successful candidates will be required to work a rota that includes early and late shifts, as well as alternate weekends.

Job description

Each day as a Care Assistant is different. You will assist with all aspects of personal care and support for the people we support within the setting.
