Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is recruiting a Care Assistant on a bank basis at Mousehold View Care Home in Norwich. You will join a caring team delivering high standards of personal care and support to residents.

Successful candidates will demonstrate compassionate values, be able to communicate effectively, and be flexible to cover a range of duties at short notice. DBS check and right-to-work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrates initiative and respect toward residents and staff.
• Efficient worker who can take instructions and adapt to short-notice tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of personal care to residents and contribute to continuity of services.
• Assist residents with personal hygiene to promote independence, dignity and respect.
• Identify and escalate clinical risks (weight loss, pressure sores, falls, infections) promptly.
• Maintain courteous, respectful interactions with residents and visitors.
• Follow safe systems of work across assigned tasks.
