Avery Healthcare is seeking a caring Care Assistant to join our Bank team at Squires Mews Care Home in Northampton. You’ll deliver high standards of personal care and contribute to a supportive care team to ensure consistent service for residents.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrate initiative and be respectful toward residents and staff.
• Be an efficient worker who can follow instructions from the team.
• Adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene while maintaining dignity and independence.
• Identify and respond to clinical risk areas (e.g. weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, infections).
• Interact courteously with residents and visitors, respecting dignity and individuality.
• Follow safe systems of work across all tasks.
