Job summary

Dounemount Care Home on the outskirts of Macduff provides Residential, Dementia, Nursing and Respite care for 34 residents in a tranquil setting. We are looking for a Care Assistant to join our team and make a real difference in residents’ lives.

You will support daily living, personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing whilst following care plans. Full training and ongoing development are provided to help you grow in your role.

Qualifications

• A caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A reliable and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
• SVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing to residents.
• Follow care plans and recognise changes in condition to keep care safe and responsive.
• Contribute to a warm, supportive environment as part of a team.
• Participate in training and ongoing development to support your journey.
