Job summary

Helping Hands Homecare in Widnes is seeking a Care Assistant to provide compassionate, in-home support. You’ll assist with personal care, mobility, medication support and daily tasks, helping clients stay independent and safe in their own homes.

No prior care experience is required; training, support and confidence-building are provided to help you thrive in a values-driven, purpose-led team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Support with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with mobility needs, helping customers stay safe and confident.
• Oversee and administer medication in line with care plans.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.
• Run essential errands, from food shopping to collecting prescriptions.
• Offer calm, considerate support that helps customers feel truly cared for.
