Job summary

Helping Hands Homecare, Inc. in Wigan is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant. You’ll provide companionship and support in clients’ homes, helping them live independently and feel safe. No prior care experience is required; full training and support are provided.

Role is flexible and includes driving to calls. You’ll receive £14.80 per hour and direct employment with benefits. A caring, reliable attitude is all that’s needed to start and grow with us.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required.
• The Right to Work in the UK is required.
• No care experience is required; kindness and reliability matter most.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Support with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with mobility needs to help customers stay safe and confident.
• Oversee and administer medication in line with care plans.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.
• Run essential errands, from food shopping to collecting prescriptions.
• Offer calm, considerate support that makes customers feel truly cared for.
