Job summary

Helping Hands is seeking a Care Assistant in Northwich to provide compassionate in-home support, helping clients stay independent and safe. No prior care experience is required as full training will be provided.

You’ll work flexible shifts, earn £15.55 per hour, with paid mileage, early pay option, and a pension with holiday entitlement as part of direct employment. Apprenticeship routes and nationally recognised qualifications are available to support your growth.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license is required or essential.
• No care experience necessary; training will be provided.
• Access to your own vehicle and reliable transport is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm companionship to customers in their homes.
• Assist with personal care including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Help with mobility and safety to support independence.
• Oversee and administer medications per care plans.
• Assist with household tasks such as cleaning and meal prep.
• Run errands including shopping and prescriptions collection.
• Provide calm, compassionate support to make clients feel truly cared for.

What you’ll do
