Job summary

The Royal British Legion's Galanos House in Southam, Warwickshire, is seeking a Care Assistant to provide personalised support with empathy and kindness. You will assist with daily routines, personal care, mobility, nutrition, and medication as needed while upholding residents' dignity. We offer flexible hours with part-time and full-time options.

Full-time shifts are 5 over 7 days, including weekends and bank holidays. Pay ranges from £13.41 to £13.62 per hour with enhancements for night work.

About The Role

We are looking for Care Assistant's to join our team at Galanos House in Southam, Warwickshire. You will be someone who is dedicated to providing personalised support to our residents, always delivering care with empathy, respect and kindness.


Rate of pay: £13.41 to £13.62 per hour, we also offer enhancements for night working.


We offer flexible working hours to fit your lifestyle, with part time and full time options available. Our full time shifts are 5 over 7 days, including weekends and bank holidays.


Please note that we are currently only able to consider applications from candidates who live within commutable distance of the care home in Southam, Warwickshire and have the legal right to work in the UK. We are unable to sponsor visas at this time.

As a Care Assistant, you will have outstanding people skills and a friendly and positive attitude. We will provide the necessary support and training you need to thrive. An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role.

Galanos House is one of six care homes, situated on the edge of Southam, a small market town in the heart of the Warwickshire countryside. Our care home has a CQC Outstanding rating. A place where ex-servicemen and women and their spouses can feel completely at home, providing care for those who have served in the Armed Forces and their dependants. We offer Nursing Care, Residential Care, and support for people living with dementia. Adjacent to the main building is the Galanos community hub, which boasts a beautiful light and spacious café and a number of multipurpose spaces which host groups, activities & events.
