Job summary

McCarthy Stone Ltd in Welwyn Garden City is seeking a part-time Care Assistant to support residents in a single central location. You will assist with daily tasks, social activities, and wellbeing, helping older adults live independently and with dignity.

Shifts include early 7.30 am–2 pm and 4.30 pm–9 pm, weekends on rotation. Pay £14.12–£15.42 per hour with enhanced rates for evenings and weekends. Sponsorship not available, UK-based applicants only.

Qualifications

• 1+ year UK health and social care experience preferred.
• Level 2 QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) is a plus but not essential.
• Caring, dependable and passionate about supporting older adults.
• Living within commuting distance of the development.

You will be working a mix of early shifts, 7.30 am to 2pm, and late shifts, 4.30pm to 9pm, including on alternate weekends.
