Elizabeth Finn Homes is recruiting a compassionate Care Assistant for Rush Court Care Home near Wallingford. You will deliver high-quality personal care in line with care plans, supporting residents to maintain dignity and independence.

Working with clinical and senior care teams, you will help create a safe, engaging environment. A Level 2 in Care (or willingness to obtain) and experience with older people are preferred; DBS checks apply and sponsorship is not available.

Formación

• Secondary school education with good numeracy and literacy.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.
• Level 2 in Care (or willingness to work towards it).
• Experience caring for older people.
• Basic knowledge of Care Workers’ Codes of Practice.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver personal care in line with care plans and procedures, documenting accurately.
• Report any changes, concerns, incidents, or complaints promptly to senior staff.
• Support residents with social activities, routines, and meaningful engagement.
• Maintain a clean, safe, secure environment and ensure equipment is used/stored safely.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all policies; take responsibility for ongoing learning and development.

Hourly Rate: £13.92 to £15.06 per hour (remote location, own transport is desirable)

Contract: Full-time/Part-time, Permanent

Shifts: Weekend availability required

Rush Court is an elegant, Queen Anne style house standing in its own grounds amidst the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside just outside Wallingford. Its 47 en suite rooms provide both residential and nursing care on a long-term or short stay basis, as well as offering end of life care.

About The Role

We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to deliver high‑quality, personal care needs of residents in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence.
