Orchard Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, empathetic Care Assistant to join the team at Lofthouse Grange & Lodge Care Home in Wakefield. You will support residents with daily needs, upholding dignity and respect in every interaction.

With full or part-time hours available, you’ll contribute to a caring environment, participate in activities, help with meals and personal care, and benefit from training, progression, and a supportive employer.

Responsabilités

• Delivering personal care such as washing, dressing, toileting, and oral hygiene
• Supporting residents in meaningful activities, leisure outings, and appointments
• Serving meals and refreshments with warmth and courtesy
• Maintaining a clean, pleasant, and welcoming environment
• Observing and reporting changes in residents’ physical or emotional wellbeing
• Acting as a key worker for a group of residents, ensuring care is tailored to their individual preferences
• Supporting new team members and contributing to a positive team culture
