Orchard Healthcare Group is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Care Assistant for Castleford Lodge Care Home in Castleford. You will support residents with daily activities, delivering personal care with dignity and respect, and contribute to a warm, person-centered environment.

You will work as part of a dedicated team, receive ongoing training, and benefit from company-supported development, DBS clearance, and a pension scheme.

As a Care Assistant at Castleford Lodge Care Home , you’ll be a vital part of our dedicated care team. You’ll support residents with their daily needs, always treating them with dignity, respect, and kindness. Your responsibilities will include:

What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering personal care such as washing, dressing, toileting, and oral hygiene


• Supporting residents in meaningful activities, leisure outings, and appointments


• Serving meals and refreshments with warmth and courtesy


• Maintaining a clean, pleasant, and welcoming environment


• Observing and reporting changes in residents’ physical or emotional wellbeing


• Acting as a key worker for a group of residents, ensuring care is tailored to their individual preferences


• Supporting new team members and contributing to a positive team culture
