Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle Limited in Ascot is hiring a Care Assistant for our luxury care and nursing home. We offer flexible full and part-time hours and a welcoming team with ongoing career development.

You’ll support residents with daily tasks, help with dementia care, and participate in activities and social programmes. Drop-in sessions Wednesdays 12pm–3pm with on-the-day interviews for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; good written and verbal communication and some IT skills.
• Right to work in the UK is required; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with washing, dressing, eating, drinking and getting around.
• Help residents make their apartments feel like home.
• Support residents in activities such as bingo, shopping and live music.
• Develop strong relationships with residents and their families; contribute to Care Plans.

You’ll be part of a caring, supportive team with exciting career development opportunities, and flexible full and part-time hours, when you join Signature Senior Lifestyle as a Care Assistant at our luxury care and nursing home in Ascot.

What you will do

Signature at Ascot are holding weekly drop in sessions on Wednesdays from 12pm to 3pm. You can pop in at any time and meet our friendly team, there will be opportunities to have a look around our beautifulhome and speak to our teams about opportunities we have available. If you bring your updated CV you may be able to have an interview on the day!

Please note that we are unable to offer sponsorship so can only offer interviews to candidates who have the right to work in the UK.

We’ll need you to bring your compassion and uniqueness to this role. Your days as a Care Assistant will be varied, interesting and rewarding, from general care right through to specialist dementia care. You’ll assist residents with washing, dressing, eating, drinking and getting around. You’ll help them make their apartments feel like home. You’ll enjoy their favourite activities with them, like bingo, shopping and live music. You’ll develop strong relationships with the individuals you work with, and their families.

You’ll be respectful of residents’ choices, dignity and independence, always. You’ll also be integral to developing residents Care Plans, which includes being aware of any specialist support needs.

• Part Time - 2 shifts per week (Days 23.5 hours / Nights 24.5 hours)
• Full Time - 3 shifts per week (Days 35.25 hours / Nights 36.75 hours)
