Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle is seeking a Care Assistant in Weybridge to join a caring, supportive team and provide personal care in a luxury care and nursing home.

You will assist residents with daily tasks, support engaging activities and help create a comfortable, home-like environment while developing your career through ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• You don’t need prior care experience; good written and verbal communication is essential.
• An NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is a big advantage.
• Some IT skills helpful for care planning and daily records.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with washing, dressing, eating and mobility with compassion.
• Support residents with activities and help them feel at home.
• Contribute to Care Plans and identify any specialist support needs.

Job Introduction

You’ll be part of a caring, supportive team with exciting career development opportunities, and flexible full and part-time hours, when you join Signature Senior Lifestyle as a Care Assistant at our luxury care and nursing home in Weybridge.

Your Role at Signature

We’ll need you to bring your compassion and uniqueness to this role. Your days as a Care Assistant will be varied, interesting and rewarding, from general care right through to specialist dementia care. You’ll assist residents with washing, dressing, eating, drinking and getting around. You’ll help them make their apartments feel like home. You’ll enjoy their favourite activities with them, like bingo, shopping and live music. You’ll develop strong relationships with the individuals you work with, and their families.

You’ll be respectful of residents’ choices, dignity and independence, always. You’ll also be integral to developing residents Care Plans, which includes being aware of any specialist support needs.
