Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle in Ascot seeks a caring Care Assistant to join our luxury home and support residents with daily tasks, personal care and mobility. You’ll help residents stay engaged in activities such as bingo, shopping and live music, making their apartments feel like home.

No sponsorship available; both flexi full-time and part-time hours offered. You’ll contribute to Care Plans while upholding dignity and independence, with ongoing training and wellbeing support included.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; good communication skills and IT basics.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is a big advantage.
• Ability to work as part of a caring, supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with washing, dressing, eating and mobility.
• Support residents in activities and social engagement (bingo, shopping, live music).
• Develop and follow Care Plans while respecting residents’ dignity and independence.

• Part Time - 2 shifts per week (Days 23.5 hours / Nights 24.5 hours)
• Full Time - 3 shifts per week (Days 35.25 hours / Nights 36.75 hours)
• Up to 30 days annual leave, plus 8 bank holidays, depending on length of service

Job Introduction

You’ll be part of a caring, supportive team with exciting career development opportunities, and flexible full and part-time hours, when you join Signature Senior Lifestyle as a Care Assistant at our luxury care and nursing home in Ascot.

Your Role at Signature

Signature at Ascot are holding weekly drop in sessions on Wednesdays from 12pm to 3pm. You can pop in at any time and meet our friendly team, there will be opportunities to have a look around our beautifulhome and speak to our teams about opportunities we have available. If you bring your updated CV you may be able to have an interview on the day!

We’ll need you to bring your compassion and uniqueness to this role. Your days as a Care Assistant will be varied, interesting and rewarding, from general care right through to specialist dementia care. You’ll assist residents with washing, dressing, eating, drinking and getting around. You’ll help them make their apartments feel like home. You’ll enjoy their favourite activities with them, like bingo, shopping and live music. You’ll develop strong relationships with the individuals you work with, and their families.

You’ll be respectful of residents’ choices, dignity and independence, always. You’ll also be integral to developing residents Care Plans, which includes being aware of any specialist support needs.
