Job summary

Choices Homecare are seeking Care Assistants to support clients across Formby, Crosby, Thornton, Waterloo, Litherland, Maghull, Bootle and surrounding areas. The role offers £13.51 per hour, flexible full-time and part-time hours, and mileage allowance.

Care is delivered in community settings 7 days a week with a minimum of 20 hours per week and every other weekend availability. Full training provided, with progression opportunities within the Optimo Care Group.

Qualifications

• A caring, compassionate, and positive approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A commitment to putting people first.
• UK driving licence with access to own vehicle for certain routes and locations.
• Previous care experience is helpful, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support people with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
• Assist with medication administration and accurate documentation.
• Prepare meals and support with eating and drinking when needed.
• Encourage independence and support people with daily living tasks.
• Build positive relationships with service users and their families.
• Support emotional wellbeing and identify changes in behaviour or needs.
• Keep accurate records and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
• Respect confidentiality and maintain professional boundaries at all times.

Rate of Pay: £13.51per hour

Flexible full-time and part-time hours available

What to expect in this role

• Care is delivered 7 days a week between 07:00 and 23:00
• We ask for a minimum of 20hours per week
• Every other weekend availability is required
