Job summary

Choices Homecare is seeking Care Assistants to support clients across the Sheffield region. The role offers flexible full-time and part-time hours with a pay rate of £13.65 per hour and mileage allowance. Training is provided and career progression is available within the Optimo Care Group.

We require a caring, reliable individual with a UK driving licence for certain routes. You will deliver care seven days a week between 07:00 and 23:00, with at least 16 hours per week and every other weekend

What To Expect In This Role

• Care is delivered 7 days a week between 07:00 and 23:00
• We ask for a minimum of 16 hours per week
• Every Other Weekend Availability Is Required
• This role is paid for care delivery time, with mileage reimbursed between calls at 30p per mile

What You Will Do

• Support people with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
• Assist with medication administration and accurate documentation

• Encourage independence and support people with daily living tasks
• Build positive relationships with service users and their families
• Support emotional wellbeing and identify changes in behaviour or needs
• Keep accurate records and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment
• Respect confidentiality and maintain professional boundaries at all times
