Job summary

TipTopJob in Thetford, Norfolk is seeking a committed Support Worker to join an exceptional care home that provides general and dementia residential and nursing care for older people.

You will have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, work 36 hours per week on a mix of shifts, and benefit from a pension, comprehensive induction, enhanced bank holiday rates, recognition schemes and DBS support.

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Support Worker to work in an exceptional care home based in the Thetford, Norfolk area. You will be working for one of UKs leading health care providers.

This is a purpose built care home designed for older people requiring general or dementia residential and nursing care.

To be considered for this position you must have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care

Key Duties

• Be an essential part of the team, promoting the well:being and providing the highest quality of care to residents
• Assist with daily tasks, inclusive of all personal care assistance from supporting with personal hygiene, through to days out and companionship
• Encourage independence, well:being and supporting vulnerable individuals with their daily routines and activities

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Have a genuine desire to care for others
• A good team player
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Able to show a can:do attitude always

Benefits and Salary

The successful Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of GBP13.45 per hour and the annual salary is GBP25,178.40 per annum.
