Job summary

Agincare UK in Taunton is hiring a Home Carer to support clients in their own homes with daily routines, personal care, meals, shopping and companionship. You’ll help maintain dignity and independence while building rewarding relationships across the community.

We welcome kind, compassionate people with or without care experience. Full UK driving licence and flexibility to work weekends are preferred; excellent training and career development await.

The Role of a Home Carer:

• Supporting people with their daily routines, including household tasks and personal care
• Helping with shopping, preparing nutritious meals, and making a comforting cup of tea
• Providing companionship, a listening ear, and friendly conversation
• Helping with medication

About you:

Above all, we’re looking for someone kind, compassionate, and genuinely passionate about helping others. You don’t need previous care experience or qualifications; if you have the right attitude and a caring nature, we can teach you the rest.

You’ll bring:

• A warm, caring, and compassionate approach to supporting others
• Strong people skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships
• A supportive, professional, and team-focused mindset
• A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK (please note we are currently unable to offer sponsorship)
• A full UK driving licence
• Flexibility to work alternating weekends
