Job summary

Bupa's Erskine Hall Care Home in Northwood is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join a team delivering person-centred care that supports independence and choice. The role offers an hourly rate of £13.10–£14.10, with day shifts 8am–8pm and a need for flexibility across Monday to Sunday including alternate weekends.

You'll contribute to high standards of care, engage residents in social and recreational activities, maintain care plans, and document changes in line with regulations.

• Desirable care home experience or Health and Social Care qualification.

Location: Erskine Hall Care Home, Northwood HA6 3PA
Salary: £13.10 - £14.10 per hour depending on experience
Day shifts available 8am - 8pm. Must be flexible to work between Monday - Sunday, including alternate weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care.
• Observe and manage residents' behaviour with care and ensure to document and report any changes in accordance with the required legislation.
• Support residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.
• Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
• Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory and legal requirements.
