Job summary

Bupa is seeking a Care Assistant at Manley Court Care Home in London. You will provide person-centred care to residents, supporting independence and choice while working as part of a team focused on high standards of care.

The role involves a mix of day and night shifts, with contracts offering 22 hours per week or 33 hours per week depending on the shift pattern. A flexible approach to scheduling is essential to meet the service needs.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Desirable: Previous experience in a care home environment or a Health and Social Care qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with companionship and personal care.
• Observe and manage residents' behaviour and document changes as required by law.
• Support nutrition and hydration according to care plans.
• Provide physical and mental stimulation through activities, in groups and individually.
• Maintain accurate care plans compliant with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care.
• Observe and manage residents' behaviour with care and ensure to document and report any changes in accordance with the required legislation.
• Support residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.
• Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
• Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory & legal requirements.
