Job summary

Bluebird Care is seeking a caring and reliable Care Assistant to support customers in their own homes across Tamworth, Lichfield, Nuneaton and surrounding areas.

You will join our Care Expert Team to deliver personalised daily living assistance with dignity, working either full-time or part-time. This role emphasizes compassionate care, reliable service, and the chance to make a real difference in people’s lives.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care.
• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• Ability to follow care plans; previous care experience beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs.
• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition.
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal.
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning.
• Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for.
