Job summary

Northcare Residences Stirling is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Lower Bridge Street in Stirling. You will provide compassionate personal care and support to residents, helping with washing, dressing, mobility and daily activities.

The role is full-time with a permanent contract and pays £13.50 per hour. Training is provided, and we value reliability, teamwork and a respectful, patient approach.

Qualifications

• Care experience is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
• Right to work in the UK is required; sponsorship not offered.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to residents.
• Assist with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with meals and hydration.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Promote residents’ independence, dignity and wellbeing.
• Assist residents with daily activities and social engagement.
• Work closely with senior carers and healthcare professionals.

Job Description – Health Care Assistant
Location: Northcare Residences Stirling, Lower Bridge Street
Salary: £13.50 per hour
Hours: Full-time positions, working 7 shifts across a 14 day period. One weekend on, one weekend off.
Contract: Permanent

We are looking for compassionate and reliable Care Assistants to join our team and provide high-quality support to individuals in Northcare Residences. At Northcare, you are more than a care worker. About the Role

As a Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing personal care and support to residents
• Assisting with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Supporting residents with meals and hydration
• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Promoting residents’ independence, dignity, and wellbeing
• Assisting residents with daily activities and social engagement
• Working closely with senior carers and healthcare professionals
• Maintaining accurate care records and reporting concerns appropriately
