Job summary

Randolph Hill Nursing Homes Group LTD in Broxburn invites applications for a Care Assistant. Permanent full-time, part-time or bank posts available, with market-leading hourly rates from £14.32 to £17.14 and overtime at time plus 33%.

We value residents' dignity and safety, require at least 1 year of care experience in elder care, and preferably SVQ 3 for senior roles. The role offers flexible patterns, training, and progression opportunities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year care experience in an elderly setting.
• SVQ 3 or equivalent preferred for senior roles.
• Ability to promote dignity, privacy and safety of residents.

Responsibilities

• Promote the highest standards of care within the nursing home.
• Uphold residents' rights to privacy, dignity and choice.
• Provide a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff and visitors.

• Set a good example in dress, manner, hygiene and behaviour.
• Report injuries, disease or dangerous practice to relevant personnel.
• Maintain correctly written records as required by the company and law.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
