Job summary

All Care Services is hiring a Care Assistant in East Sussex. You will join a team providing person-centred home care across Hove and surrounding areas, with duties including medication support, personal care, and companionship.

Training is provided, with guaranteed hours for some contracts and mileage reimbursement. The role requires travel to clients and flexible hours, including weekends, with additional pay for unsociable hours and holidays.

Qualifications

• Good English communication skills.
• Willing to travel to client locations as part of the role.
• NVQ qualifications in Health & Social Care are funded and supported.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medication administration and light personal care tasks.
• Provide companionship and support to service users during daily activities and outings.
• Travel to client locations across the community as required.
• Support with routine care duties following care plans and instruction from supervisors.

About the Role

The Service user enjoys going out to Eastbourne and Worthing on the bus, going for lunch in cafes and watching the football on weekends at Brighton Stadium.

Th carer will be required to support with medication administration and light personal care tasks, willing to travel and enjoys days out.

We are looking for someone who shares the same hobbies and interests as the client and who is commited to making a real difference.
