Job summary

Primary Source Care are recruiting for Care Assistants to work at our client's nursing home in Towcester, providing high quality care to adults aged 60 and over with diverse health needs. Full time, part time and ad-hoc positions are available, with hourly rates from £8.50 to £10.00.

We offer nursing, residential, and respite care, plus a full induction and ongoing training. DBS checks are required before commencing work with service users.

Qualifications

• At least six months' experience in a care/supported living environment.
• Level 3 Qualification in Health and Social Care preferred.
• Enhanced DBS check required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality care to adults aged 60+ with a range of health needs.
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities.
• Support across nursing, residential and respite services as required.

About the role

• Nursing – We offer 24-hour personal support to those with a condition that requires frequent specialised, qualified nursing care. We also offer dementia care.
• Residential – Provides accommodation, meals and personal care for those who find it increasingly difficult to cope at home without assistance.
• Respite – Short stays offering round the clock care in a safe, comfortable environment. Perfect for carers who are ill, on holiday or just need a break.

What we need from you

You will need to have at least six months' experience working in a care/supported living environment, and ideally hold a Level 3 Qualification in Health and Social Care, although it is more important that you have a positive, can-do attitude and the willingness to undertake further on-the-job training. All successful candidates will need to undergo an enhanced DBS check before they can commence working with service users.
