About You
As a Care Assistant under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents. You will assist residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing, and helping with meals.
Delivering care that truly comes from the heart, ensuring residents never lose their dignity or sense of individuality. You might help someone with limited mobility learn to use an aid, offer emotional support to a confused or distressed resident, or provide end-of-life care. Always prioritize their well-being.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and to undertake additional training as needed. You should also be able to seek advice and report concerns appropriately, including escalation if necessary.
