Join HC One as a Senior Care Assistant, where kindness is at the heart of everything we do. This is a night shift vacancy for 33 hours per week.

Responsibilities

1. Plan and implement personalized care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence.
2. Build relationships with residents and their families.
3. Lead a team of Care Assistants, maintaining high standards of care.
4. Assist with activities that provide physical and mental stimulation.
5. Administer medication and maintain accurate records.
6. Support the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in daily tasks.

Qualifications and Skills

• Ideally, hold a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Experience in person-centered care planning and caring for people with dementia.
• Positive energy, kindness, and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and keep accurate records.

Safeguarding

Recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect. Attend safeguarding training and know how to report concerns appropriately.
